Confidentiality Policy

Editors of the Journal of Pure and Applied Agriculture (JPAA) play a critical role in safeguarding the confidentiality of all information related to the editorial and peer review process. To maintain trust and integrity, the following principles apply:

  • Editors must treat all manuscripts, reviewer reports, correspondence, and related materials as strictly confidential.
  • Manuscript content and related information should only be shared with authorized individuals directly involved in the editorial and review process (e.g., reviewers, editorial staff).
  • Editors shall not disclose any details about a manuscript, its authors, or its review status to anyone outside the editorial process without explicit permission.
  • Confidential information remains protected even after the publication or rejection of a manuscript.
  • Editors must remain vigilant to ensure confidentiality is maintained even in cases involving conflicts of interest.
  • Any suspected or actual breach of confidentiality must be promptly reported to the Editor-in-Chief and handled according to journal policies.
