Aim & Scope

Journal of Science Education (JSE) is published by Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad, Pakistan. It is initiated by the Science Education Department, Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad, Pakistan.  It identifies and bridges the gap between research and practice in the domain of science education. It is a double-blind biannual peer-reviewed journal. It provides ideas, information, and opinion regarding trends, issues, and problems in science education. The special emphasis of JSE is to promote applicable research related to educational practices to teach science at elementary, secondary, higher secondary, and higher educational levels.

JSE purely focuses on researches in the discipline of science education. The journal invites papers on developments and innovations, action, original empirical research, critical, exploratory, and theoretical papers in the field of science education.  Articles must be related to any aspects of science education such as science curriculum, science book reviews, assessment in science education, problems of teaching and learning science, science education programmes, training courses and programmes regarding science teaching, innovative science teaching practices, science learning through ICTs, policies and plans reviews related to science education.
