Abstract

The understudy research explores ‘Postmodern Techniques in South Asian Fiction with special focus on Uzma Aslam Khan’s novel The Geometry of God. Most of the South Asian novels appeared on the scene in 20th and 21st century carry some of the prominent postmodern themes, tools, techniques and experimentations to deal with the complex nature of a wide range of
issues: epistemology, identity, sexuality, aesthetics, ethics, blasphemy laws, politics, philosophy, religion, science, metaphysics, and logic. The study is descriptive in nature and takes qualitative content analysis paradigm of research for the analysis of the data.
