In recent years Pakistani media have been seen the contesting an alarming situation for the practical journalism in Pakistan. This study examined the root causes of that contestation. Interviews of working journalists were conducted and Grounded Theory (GT) methodology was used to analyze those interviews. Qualitative analysis techniques of Grounded Theory were used to
