Marriage Significance in Islam and Christianity: A Textual Study

Abstract

This study emphasizes on the institution of family life through the contract of marriage in Islam and Christianity. The authenticity of marriage in Islam and Christianity is clearly mentioned in Quran and Bible as both scriptures call it as sacred contract. The
teachings of Quran and Bible highlight the obligation of family life because it creates peace and tranquility in society.
