Origins and Controls of Epic Art (A Desprective Study)

Abstract

An epic is an extensive poem that has been composed in an elevated style, that treats a pivotal epoch in the past of a particular people, and that endures because it both entertains its audiences and educates them on issues of ultimate importance. The word epic is derived from the Ancient Greek adjective, “epic’s”, which means a poetic story. In literature, an epic is a long narrative poem, which is usually related to heroic deeds of a person of an unusual courage and unparalleled bravery. A modern-day epic is any long film or book that tells the story of a hero who has superhuman qualities and experiences supernatural adventures over a long period of time and space
