Abstract
This research explores the depiction of prophetic figures in modern Arabic literature, focusing on the transformations that have occurred in portraying these figures from traditional sacred models to more human and psychological forms. The study discusses how contemporary writers have utilized various literary techniques to present these figures within contemporary social and political contexts, contributing to the rediscovery of the roles of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his companions in the modern world. Additionally, it examines the role of feminist literature in presenting prophetic figures, particularly the female companions, in ways that go beyond traditional representations. In this context, the research also presents the challenges and criticisms faced by this portrayal in religious, cultural, and political frameworks. The research is divided into an introduction and three main sections: the definition of prophetic figures, the aspects of their depiction in modern Arabic literature, and the challenges and criticisms.
