Stress in Arabic as compared with that in English

Abstract

Some systems of one language are common with others, while others are different, but those which are common are not common in every respect.

To know the unshared aspects is very important, so that concentration may be made on them, and due time may be allocated to them by both teachers and students.

Both English and Arabic have stress, but the tendencies are different, which, when not tendency to the target language, which make them ridiculous.

So, systems of both these languages in respect of stress have been studied in this article the light of this study conclusion and suggestion have been given to benefit the students and teachers.
