Abstract
The role of verbs is remarkable when viewed in the light of sentence structure. Arabic verbs have different semantically meanings according to texts.This study deals with three basic tenses semantic meanings. Arabic verb has got special span of time and is not restricted to traditional and common meaning. The past tense talks about an action happened in past but it has been continuing until the time we are talking about it and the semantic context indicate meaning. The present tense indicates action while the utterance is spoken and since it denotes in some part on the past, and in other part on the future tense and semantic deals with this. The order in imperative tense also denotes the different times. To prove Semantic of these verbs we have used sayings of Holy Prophet (S.A.A.W) from Sahih al-Bukhari. Hopefully the researchers of Arabic grammar and semantic will find this study helpful and very useful.
