Abstract

Chivalry and Tramp are the two prominent features of Sa,alik Poets. Tramps (Sa,alik) is a name given to a group of Arabs in the Pre-Islamic era, who lived and launched their movement in the Arabian Peninsula. They belong to different tribes and were expelled from their tribes. Most of the members of this group were glorious poets and their poems were considered as a model in Arabic poetry. This study found that  their poetry is distinguished by courage, chivalry, patience , strength, Tramp, determination and spirit. The method used for this research was descriptive, analytical and qualitative. The Study also found that although they faced poverty , hunger and deprivation but still they were optimists and positive thinkers. The purpose of this research was to analyze the elements of chivalry and tramp  in Arabic Poetry.
