Critical trends in the councils of the caliphs in the Umayyad era

Abstract

Most of the critical judgments that were issued in the Caliphs’ councils on the literary effects of approval or disapproval were not based on taste and sound instinct alone without reflection and forethought but were based on that based on specific objective controls and standards, it is true that they were not written down. In books, there is an objective, systematic, scientific notation, but it was clear in their minds, known to many of them, they respect and revere it, and they submit to its judgment.
