Abstract
This study aims to rehabilitate the reader, and put him before a new cultural understanding regarding the performative symbol performed by the opening stanza in the immortal poem “Bant Souad" The answer to the question is: Was the construction of the text determined by a methodology in which the poet wanted to create a meaning other than the apparent meaning, and what meaning did the poet want to produce? Have critical analysis methods left a problem in this text unresolved satisfactorily related to the dilemmas existing between the method of reception associated with the recipient and the method of response or influence associated with the textual aspects Therefore, admiration for him comes as a collective awareness and commitment, and a reaction to the mental and literary developments in the Arabian Peninsula? Then is it true that the recipients’ fascination with this poem is the culmination of the experience of the poet and the recipient derived from the procedures for understanding the style of artistic performance followed in ancient poetic production So that Kaab bin Zuhair, the Messenger (may God bless him and grant him peace), and the present companions had an aesthetic experience resulting from all of them obtaining critical insight gained from the usual artistic performance emanating from poetry produced during the recent decades preceding the dawn of Islam?
