The social factor and its impact on the formation of literary though

Abstract

Literature is the true expression of human feelings, thoughts and fantasies, and all of these are affected by living conditions, phases of social life, types of thoughts and beliefs, and fluctuations in politics. We find it in pre-Islamic poetry, but we do not find it in Islamic poetry, due to the different factors affecting literature in the two eras.

But when we go back to the study of poetry in the Umayyad era, we find a strong coalition between it and poetry in the pre-Islamic era, because the conditions have changed and found appropriate with the pre-Islamic era. Arabs and talking about revenge

But Umayyad poetry is full of Islamic words and opinions as well, and the reason for that is to close to the time of the Islamic era. This study comes to shed light on the impact of the social factor on the formation of literary thought among poets in particular, and we will represent the impact of the social factor on a poet from the Abbasid era and another from the modern era.
