Plagiarism Policy
Research Journal Shariah Studies strictly adheres to established publication ethics and maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism. All manuscripts submitted to the journal are screened using Turnitin software to identify potential textual similarities. Manuscripts exhibiting a similarity index exceeding 19% are returned to the author(s) without further processing.
The journal follows the plagiarism guidelines issued by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan, to assess the presence of plagiarism. If plagiarism or any other unethical practice is identified after publication, the Editorial Board reserves the right to retract the published article in accordance with HEC’s plagiarism policy.
Authors bear individual and collective responsibility for the originality and integrity of their submitted work. In cases of serious or repeated plagiarism, the Editorial Board may consult the author(s)’ affiliated institution(s) and may impose sanctions, including blacklisting.
