The Most Popular Trips in Arabic & Islamic Literature

Abstract

Ancient Arabs are very well known for their travels in pre Islamic era. Books of Arab’s history narrates in detail about the journeys which Arabs frequently made towards other countries or the cities of Arab itself mainly for the purpose of trade. Holy Quran has also pointed out to this in famous Surah Al Quraish.

Travelling had been in fact, a part of their culture as they used to travel from one part of their own homeland to other or they shifted from one part of their territory to other to make the both ends meet by searching food (mainly grass for their cattle) and water sources.       In the following lines of research paper, famous travels of Arabs, the places which they visited during their journeys and the purposes of their journeys are discussed in detail.
