Arabic Books By The Hanafi Sect

Abstract

Muslims took care of the Science of history great care. The idea of dividing people into classes has emerged since early times, and the motive for this is to ensure the person and his position among his peers. Then, the idea evolved to show new features in terms of coordination and arrangement. Some of them arranged the classes on the letter of the dictionary, the genealogies, the Cities and the years, each according to his terminology.

In view of the development of jurisprudence studies and its expansion, it called for the need to know the conditions of the jurists and the statement of their ranks. In the beginning the authors were keen to write the comprehensive records of all scholars of various Islamic schools but after the expansion of the Islamic schools there was need to distinguish men of each doctrine and impact of the jurisprudence. Similarly, the Hanafi doctrine has a large library of books that contains the biographies of Hanafi scholars.  As we found the books of Hanafi doctrine mentioned in a dispersed way in different books and manuscripts So by writing this article our motive is to accumulate the names of books containing the classes of Hanafi scholars in one place
