The rise of financial technology (Fintech) has revolutionized the banking sector globally.  This study investigates the impact of Fintech adoption on operational risk and corporate governance practices in Pakistani banks.  Pakistan's banking sector is experiencing a surge in Fintech innovation, and understanding the associated risks and governance considerations is crucial for sustainable growth. The research explores how Fintech's inherent characteristics, such as increased reliance on technology and potential for cyber threats, can elevate operational risk profiles for Pakistani banks.  It further examines how corporate governance practices can be adapted to effectively mitigate these risks and ensure responsible Fintech integration. The study employs a comprehensive review of existing literature on Fintech, operational risk management, and corporate governance.  The findings aim to contribute valuable insights for Pakistani banks, regulatory authorities, and industry stakeholders.  By understanding the interplay between Fintech, operational risk, and corporate governance, stakeholders can develop strategies to harness the potential of Fintech while safeguarding the stability and integrity of the Pakistani banking system.
