The study explores the research tendencies in the field of Library and Information Science (LIS) of the three universities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Pakistan during the period of 1983-2022. The data was collected through E-mail, Google scholar accounts, Whatsapp and personal contacts with the faculty members. The data of 392 publications (346 articles and 46
other publications) along with 1696 citations which these publications received was analyzed through bibliometric indicators.

Purpose- Signs and symbols plays an important role in our lives because they help us to convey messages even without written words. With the invention of the internet and the evolution of web technologies, the universe became a global village because the internet facilitated a better and faster avenue for human communication. In libraries and allied information
science terrains, the internet fostered the use of Websites, to portray the intellectual contents that are domiciled in them. On the library websites, users can ascertain the timings, collections, policies etc. of a particular library because the icons that are visible on a homepage usually make it very attractive to the user, as well as convey the interpretations of the
images without textual inscriptions.

Introduction: The current study was the result of four major theory and practice-driven research gaps identified: firstly, „Pakistan Education Policy 2017‟s Islamic values and holistic development of child-related gap; secondly, Pakistan‟s latest Single National Curriculum, 2020‟s lack of connecting parenting and schooling gap; thirdly, Pakistan National Professional Standards for Teachers, 2009, standard 2 and standard 3 of 10 standards lacking up-to-date Islamic and Western blended parenting and teaching guidance gap, and fourthly, lack of any research based blended parenting or guidance program in concerned government departments.
Aims: In this regard, the study explored Islamic and Western versions of adolescent developmental characteristics, principles, milestones, common challenges and their remedies.

Exploring professional competencies of college librarians in Sahiwal division, Pakistan.

Purpose- The goal of this study was to investigate the professional competencies of private college librarians in the Sahiwal Division. Research Methodology- In this study, a survey-based quantitative research strategy was employed. A questionnaire as a research tool was used to collect data from college librarians of Sahiwal Division. The population of the study comprised male and female professional librarians and library staff working at different private colleges in the Sahiwal Division. A total of 101
registered private colleges were selected as the population whereas the estimated number of library professionals in all these colleges came to 101 librarians. The convenience sampling technique was used in the study.
